The Organization
Transcendence is an art of many subtleties. Our non-profit, the CSA, is dedicated to the blossoming of human consciousness through the discovery and application of these subtle arts.
About
The Center For Subtle Arts is a nonprofit organization created to kinder and nurture the human impulse to evolve into a loving, compassionate, joyous, and peaceful presence. We embrace all forms of communion with the divine, finding creative ways to remind our audience of their magnificence and provide steadfast companionship through self-discovery.
What is unique to our approach is our use of the creative arts as a medium for self-discovery. Art represents an evolution of human consciousness, where the appreciation and expression of beauty begin. This is an intrinsic quality of spirituality and divinity. Using the canvas of the arts as a springboard to delve into the stillness within, the Center for Subtle Arts presents a new opportunity for growth. One where your power as a creator is harnessed to create a life worthy of your divine origin. We use poetry, painting, and puns to explore the limits of our consciousness and venture into the beyond.
Our spirituality is a celebration of every aspect of life and an embrace of all facets of nature. We are a community that strives to apply our spirituality to life and loves the process of doing so. There is no philosophical teaching here, but rather a way of life which is the distilled essence from every spiritual teaching known to man - the art of living simply and freely. Helping you create a life that supports you as a divine being and as an integral part of Life is at the core of our mission.
We envision a world of love, peace, and joy for all. May the light in our hearts find its way to yours.
How are we different from other Meditation Practices and Programs
What visuals do you often think of when you come across meditation ? Someone sitting in absolute stillness and serenity perhaps? This stillness looks like absolute bliss and you imagine this could be you. So you clear you schedule and sit down. You’ve shut out the world, everyone and anyone who can disrupt this divine act is kept beyond reach. And you sit, finally. It’s quiet. Then you begin to wonder why is it so quiet? Is everything alright with everyone? Did you turn off the stove? Of course, you did, let’s get back to the serenity. Whenever it begins to get quiet within, there is something within that isn’t comfortable with it. Once you recognize this, you realize that this serenity that is advertised, must possibly have a level of mastery to it or a technique perhaps? It is neither.
Meditation in the seated form and experiencing stillness from it does not have to require years of practice or mastery. It does however require that you understand the foundations of the mind and body and what you are working to achieve. Meditation is not an act and one does not have to only be seated to achieve it. In fact, a meditative state is most often achieved when one is in action - a state of flow. This is a state where one is actively present to the activity, completely engrossed in it. It is a state of passion, purpose and love. This is what we have learned - stillness is not something we can grasp at, it has to be allowed. It is much easier to allow it when consciousness is actively engaged in creating with intention, clarity and truth. This expansive approach to meditation allows for even those who are busy to take it up. Any act one is absolutely present to becomes an act of meditation.
This is our proposition. Learn the art of meditation and discover an entirely new way to live. Joyously, Compassionately and Lovingly.
Love and Light,
